A vintage Italian two-light wall sconce in hand-painted tôle, maker unknown, estimated 1950s–1960s, shaped as a bouquet of roses and garden flowers tied with a twisted gilt cord. An open rose, rosebuds, a tulip, a daisy-like bloom and tiny bell flowers are coloured in soft green, coral, rose, ochre and cream, with an original brown glaze that adds depth. Origin attributed to Italy by style; no maker’s mark. Original wiring with two E14 sockets; installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition, with minor wear and patina consistent with age and a couple of tiny paint chips. No rust.
