Vintage Italian Floral Tole Chandelier

A vintage floral tole chandelier with five candle-style lights, decorated with hand-shaped metal flowers, buds, curling vines and leaves. This cream and beige painted metal chandelier features brown antiqued detailing and an ornate open-cage form characteristic of 1960s Italian Florentine lighting.

Sourced in France from its original owner, who purchased it in 1973. The chandelier is attributed to Italian manufacture; no maker’s mark has been found.

This mid-century botanical ceiling light has been professionally rewired with all-new electrical components and five new E14 sockets. Bulbs are not included.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with its age, including scattered paint loss and surface marks. There are small spots of oxidation throughout the painted metalwork; these resemble textured detailing and contribute to the chandelier’s authentic aged patina.
